Introduction to Improvising

Join us for a dynamic and interactive Introduction to Improvising workshop with Sahir Mehta, designed to help you embrace spontaneity, build confidence, and sharpen your storytelling skills. Whether you're new to improv or looking to refine your skills, this session will provide a solid foundation through fun and engaging exercises.

What to Expect:
The 5 Basic Rules of Improv: Learn the core principles, including "Yes, and," active listening, and making your scene partner look good.
CROW (Character, Relationship, Objective, Where): Explore key elements that create engaging and grounded scenes.
Basic Scene Structure: Understand how to build and sustain compelling improv scenes.
Finding the Game: Discover how to identify and heighten comedic or dramatic patterns.

Building Trust & Jumping In! Gain confidence in taking creative risks and supporting your fellow performers.

Synopsis:
Can you ever move on from your grief? How? Should you even want to?
A formerly married couple are reunited for the first time in around a decade at the cemetery where their tragically young son was buried. What follows is an intense push and pull between bitterness and tenderness, strangeness and closeness.
